The Cool Soror Podcast is ALL NEW IN 2022! Today, we are joined by FOUR Cool Soror Alumnae from Florida A&M University. We caught up with them for FAMU’s Homecoming -The Epic Return and it was just that! Representing both Beta Alpha Chapters, these women have done some amazing things in all of their careers. Partnering with Pepsi’s “She Got Now” initiative, we travel into their journeys to see why each of them “Got Now!”
Joining us for the third time is Melissa Mitchell, CEO & Artist of Abeille Creations. A Cool Soror of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. says, “When you think about your time, your intention and your place in the world, I got now. This is my time!”
Arisha Smith, a Cool Soror of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is the Chief Growth Officer of Streamlytics. She says, “It’s our time. As Black Women, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.”
Our third guest is Adrienne Alexander, CEO & Founder, Managing Partner of Alexander Law PC, Inc. A Cool Soror of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Adrienne believes that “you may not know the path, but if you keep moving, it’s going to come.”
Rounding it out for the show and joining us for the second time is Keshia Walker, A Cool Soror of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is the President of Insights Marketing as well as the Founder + Chairwoman of the Black Collegiate Gaming Association. She is a firm believer in celebrating ourselves as women and celebrating all the amazing things we do.

On International Women’s Day, we wanted to share the story of Pinky Cole, a COOL SOROR of DST! This visionary and founder of the wildly popular, Slutty Vegan and its brand went from a television producer for two popular shows to sharing her passion for delicious vegan food with the masses.
A graduate of Clark Atlanta University, she understands that her mission in life is to not only provide a delectable dining experience for her customers, but she understands the importance of community. Paying the tuition for 30+ Clark Atlanta students to providing life insurance to African American men, Pinky says her work here on this earth has only just begun.
You will see why she continues to win because her mindset has never waivered. As soon as she entered the world, her life had purpose. She so effortlessly confesses, “I was born confident.” It’s simply something she’s always known.

The Cool Soror Collective welcomes Aubrey-Simone Williams to the show today. This Cool Soror of SGRho wears many hats. She is the founder of TheACTivists Theatre Company and is also currently serving as a producer on Fox Soul TV.
Aubrey has studied and trained at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre in London, England, the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City, as well as Robert Mello Studios and the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. Her formal education includes a B.I.S. in Theatre Performance, a B.A. in Film, and an M.A. in African American Studies -all from Georgia State University.
In addition to producing theatre and television, Aubrey’s recent projects include directing the touring production, “Black Matter” and partnering with Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company for their “Act Like A Lady” program. She is also a proud member of C4 Atlanta and the Dramatists Guild. Aubrey’s published projects include: Black Matter: The Play, Black Matter: Poems of Perseverance, and “The Last Poets” for the Black Power Encyclopedia – 2019.
What makes her vulnerability so gorgeously beautiful is her ability to open up about her mental health journey. You will learn more about her fight to break generational curses while creating her own path.
